My first real trek was a mistake — wrong shoes, wrong map, wrong season. I made it anyway. That's when I understood why people go back.
Each trail has taught me something a screen never could. Patience on a steep ascent. Letting go of plans when the weather decides otherwise. The way silence feels different at altitude.
These are the mountains I've been to. The photos don't do it justice — they never do.

Kedarkantha Base Camp — 3,800m, first snow of the season
Chopta meadows — the day the clouds lifted
Solo day hike — no destination, just walking
Pre-dawn start — you earn the sunrise
Valley fog below the ridgeline
Summit push — final 400m always hurts
